Our history
On the April 23, 1941 due to the end of the construction of autorepairing plant, the plant began to be considered as acting of "Yuzhstroymehanizatsiya".
A rapid recovery of the plants began in September of 1943 when the city was released and in 1945 company entered the number of working plants, having reached the pre-war level of output.
In November 1946 the plant became known as "Slavic mechanical plant.
In April 1947 Slavic mechanical plant was renamed to the "Factory of machines for building” of the Ministry of Construction and Road Machinery Glavstroymash.
In 1948 the reconstruction of the plant was started: approach roads were summed up, the construction of mechanical assembly shop was began. In 1952 the metalware shop started acting and in 1955 steel-casting department was finished.
Factory team made a great contribution in the postwar reconstruction of the economy: more than 300 mobile concrete mixing plants worked on the construction of the Gorkovskoy, Kuibyshevskoy, Volzskoy, Kamskoy, Votkinskoy, Kremenchugskoy, Irkutskoy, Novosibirskoy, Kievskoy, Nurekskoy and other hydroelectric power plants.
The plant products were known by their high quality and reliability in many countries. Concrete mixing machinery, produced by the plant, was distributed to 40 countries, including Afghanistan, Bulgaria, India, Indonesia, Vietnam, Iran, Iraq, Cuba, Yugoslavia, South Africa and others .
The factory has been a regular participant of VDNKh , prestigious international exhibitions and fairs in Yugoslavia, Bulgaria, Syria has, France, GDR, Tanzania, Spain, Nigeria, Austria, Egypt, Iraq and others. Because of it’s high-quality products factory was repeatedly awarded with diplomas and certificates. In 1976 at the international fair in Zagreb (Yugoslavia) for the concrete mixing machine SB-93 plant was awarded a gold medal. In 1993 in Madrid the plant got The Arch of Europe Gold Star prize, in 1995 it won the Gold Award for best commercial image.
In 1976 the plant was given the honorable addition to the title - “ XXV Congress of the CPSU” (Order № 221 of Minstroydormash 19.05.76)
In the 80s the plant produced such concrete plants as SB-75А model, cement warehouses SB-39Б, SB-92A, truck mixers, cement trucks TЦ-2B, mixers SB-153, SB-146, SB-138А. The company was produsint eight different products which were given a quality mark. Along with the mixing equipment manufacturing factory produced more than 20 consumer goods for various purposes.
In 1986 exporting increased by 9 times in comparison to 1964. The geography of supply significantly expanded, the production was sent to more than 50 countries. The best specialists of the plant provided technical assistance in the installation and development of enterprise.
The product range was constantly updated. Instead of obsolete concrete mixers S-773, S-951, SB-93, S-302 the production of more productive SB-146А, SB-138Б, SB-153А, SB-145-2 (in the winter performance) and SB-145 -5 (summer version) with capacity of 40 cubic meters per hour was mastered.
The plant produced an automated cement storages with capacity of 28, 32, 75 tons, as well as mobile mixing plant for the construction of highways, airports, hydro plants with capacity of 120 cubic meters per hour. Two units of the model 109А CБ in 1986-1987 were successfully used during the Construction of the sarcophagus of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant.
In 1991 Slavyansk construction machinery factory named after XXV Congress of the CPSU was renamed to joint - stock company "Betonmash" according to the resolution of the Executive Committee of the Town Council and ont the 16th of July 1998 the name was changed to Closed joint - stock company "Betonmash” by order os the mayor.
CJSC Betonmash continued producting the same concrete mixing equipment. The plant manufactures various types of concrete mixing plants with capacity from 15 to 135 cubic meters per hour (with the possibility of been equipped with a computer control system): the most common are the concrete mixing plants SB-145 of a winter and summer types, with the performance and productivity from 40 to 60 cubic meters with a strain-gauge weighing system; mixers with forced (with the volume of the batch from 350 to 1500 liters) and gravity (with the volume of the batch from 50 to 3000 liters) mixing, dry soluble mixture plants, filling machines for cement packing, cement warehouses, bulk dispensers and other equipment.
The latest developments of technical services of CJSC "Betonmash" are the small-sized concrete mixing plants like SB-241 (15 cubic meters per hour ), SB-241A (20 cubic meters per hour), SB-241B (40 cubic meters per hour) , which are popular with different construction organizations. These plants are equipped with compulsory concrete mixers SB-146А (V = 0,5 cubic meters of ready concrete mix) and SB-138B (V = 1 cubic meters of ready concrete mix) which can be performed in any climatic design.
Along with the production of concrete mixing machinery CJSC “Betonmash“ manufactures the equipment and spare parts for the metallurgical and mining complexes, and also the chain cable layers for the coal combines.
At present C JSC "Betonmash delivers its products not only to building enterprises in Ukraine but also to numerous builders in Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Moldova, the Baltic States (Latvia and Lithuania) and the Middle East (Libya, Lebanon), Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan.
